I wouldn't do it again, but . . .

Jim Caple notes what many of us watching last night felt: that the whole half game thing was actually pretty satisfying.

Absolutely - there was no pregame show, no first pitch, no national anthem (look, I'm patriotic, but start the game already), no introductions, etc. Just the game. And then it was over by 10:30.

See, Selig didn't make such a bad decision after all. You would have had to wait to go to sleep for another ten minutes had he called the game earlier the other night. :)
