In the wake of CC Sabathia's controversial one-hitter last week, the Cleveland Plain Dealer's Bill Livingston recalls a day some 35 years ago when he was the official scorer for a Texas high school game in which phamous phenom David Clyde gave up nothing but a bare-handed slow roller which Livingston ruled a hit.
In baseball, there's nothing new under the sun.
