More Efficient Use of Government Resources

Yesterday we had a city council getting into the business of what RSNs a cable company should carry, and today we've got a county commission weighing in on the Ford Frick award:

A Butler County commissioner is giving a boost to Joe Nuxhall's quest for the highest honor in baseball broadcasting. The two-week campaign, backed by Commissioner Greg Jolivette, starts today. The goal, he said, is to encourage residents to get their native son honored in the Baseball Hall of Fame . . . A rally will be held at 10:30 a.m. today in the atrium of the Butler County Government Services Building, 315 High St., Hamilton.

Thank goodness all of the crime has been solved, the potholes have been fixed, and the buses are running on time.
