APBA Guy-

Couple of things to remember as Florida loses team after team to AZ:

- FL is one of the hardest hit states by the housing crunch which has caused the local economy to recess. Teams asking for the usual handouts and breaks are being laughed at

- The economics of travel to and from FL have changed greatly since the day when MLB teams were all Eastern time zone. Distance and location are largely irrelevant

- As Buster Olney says, the food is better in AZ, especially around Scottsdale and Phoenix. If all the teams were clustered around Orlando or Miami there might be a comparable situation, but let's face it, some of the Florida locations are really remote.
