My review of Mark Bowden's new book about the 1958 NFL Championship Game can be found in today's New York Post.My grousing the other day notwithstanding, I kind of like writing these. The only problem is that they tend to cut off the part where I actually, you know, review the book, which makes these things read more like promos than anything else. No complaints, though. It's hard enough to find book reviews in newspapers these days, so even less-than-rigorous ones are welcome.
