I got about two decent hours of sleep last night followed by about six hours of coughing, aching and praying for the sweet release of death. Still feeling pretty bad this morning, so it will be another slow day around these parts. Sorry about that.
In the meantime, somebody explain to me why The Monkey Wrench Gang never got made into a movie.

You had four entries yesterday, Craig. If that's slow, what's full speed?
Well, I think I had 10 on Monday. It's much easier without the barfing and whatnot!
10? That's a David Pinto pace.
If I could figure out a way to make this my full time job I'd probably double up on Pinto.
His stuff would still be about 50X better than mine, but I'd have the quantity, baby!
I've gotta figure out how to:
1) write shorter entries
2) get more time at work to do this sorta thing
3) you know, um, get paid for it
4) um, paid more than my regular job
5) Keep up with Shyster
Fluff TV today has nothing on the fluff TV when I was a kid. For me, having the flu meant Don Ho and his Hula dancers, live from the Royal Hawaiian, promptly at 11:30 ET. The sight of those swaying palms and swaying ladies always made me feel better.
For a guy my age (34) it was all about the game shows. This morning, as I crunched saltine crackers and coughed out a lung, the only thing I wanted -- more than anything in the world -- was a "Card Sharks," "Sale of Century," and the Price is Right. I only got one of those, and brother, it ain't the same.
