I have never met a Cubs fan I haven't liked, so I feel kind of bad for them this morning. But anything that makes Jim Belushi cry is probably, on balance, a good thing for the planet.

In a wildly gyrating world, it's comforting that some things never change. I sincerely believe The End of Days will come if the Cubs ever win it all. We should thank them for allowing us another year of existence, at least as we know it.
