Today is one of the few days of the year on which baseball takes a backseat here at ShysterBall. My plans: to watch bowl games and eat bean dip until I'm either dead or divorced, after which I intend to fall asleep on the couch. I hope your day -- and your new year -- is as good as mine is shaping up to be.
