Jim Leyritz apparently had a blood alcohol level of .14 at 6AM on the morning of the crash that killed Ann Veitch. The accident occurred nearly three hours previous to the blood test. I'm no doctor, but most sources say that your BAC lowers by approximately .015 an hour after you stop drinking, which means that, assuming he didn't have a hip flask with him at the police station, Leyrtiz was likely in the .18-.19 range at the time of accident.
Because of the high BAC, Leyrtiz has been charged with an additional manslaughter count.

Good, he should be thrown away for a long time for a BAC that high. Idiot.
