Well, that doesn't happen anymore, as Ryan Howard was allowed to hack his way to history last night, breaking Adam Dunn's whiff record.Not that benching Howard is an option given how brutal the playoff scramble is this year in the NL. No, the Phillies will gladly take his .265/.391/.567, 43 homers and 128 RBI no matter how many strikeouts accompany it, thank you very much.
