The biggest 'con' most of my Yankee fan friends can come up with is his youth, and the potential lack of respect from the players. But Jorge and Jeter both respect him immensely, and they would set the tone for the young'uns on the team. As mentioned, his commentary during Yankee broadcasts shows that he knows his stuff...seriously, it's like a master-class in baseball tactics and strategy when he calls a game (best when paired with Al Leiter, who is no Jim Kaat but is really good).<BR/><BR/>I don't know about Davy Johnson...not sure he'd get respect from the Yankee fans (who tend to think of the Mets as a minor league team for some reason).
