Miss some of the retail convenience of central Ohio but lifestyle wise Athens is great. Plus the Buckeyes are viewed with a better (dare I say healthier) perspective from a few counties away, especially while day haking with the kids and checking on the score after you get home. Maybe you could buy a Prius and commute when telecommutting is not an option.

As for the rats, no problem here as the coyotes more than likely eat them. Of course the you need to watch for deer and wild turkeys while driving as they are abundant.Mark Shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08422034768135948388noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9131289420618991795.post-7515348042928624452008-09-14T18:02:00.000-04:002008-09-14T18:02:00.000-04:00Haiku?Haiku?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9131289420618991795.post-50006564548477639272008-09-14T11:32:00.000-04:002008-09-14T11:32:00.000-04:00The county is paying for that. Not that rats all over the dominant city in the county doesn't affect it too, but they are two different budgets.Craig Calcaterrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00190345915954808542noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9131289420618991795.post-23737145540644946322008-09-14T11:23:00.000-04:002008-09-14T11:23:00.000-04:00But your city can afford a new baseball stadium......But your city can afford a new baseball stadium.....Eric Tomshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00632341548970196518noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9131289420618991795.post-86815333660305028152008-09-14T01:22:00.000-04:002008-09-14T01:22:00.000-04:00I recommend relocating to the Willamette Valley in...I recommend relocating to the Willamette Valley in Oregon. It's green. It's reputation for perpetual rain is grossly undeserved (look at national precipitation charts). Plus there's no sales tax. Mr. Neyer knows of what I speak. And as Oregonians, we're a pretty liberal lot, so we need lots of lawyers.

The only possibly downside to moving here is having to pull for the "home" baseball team, the Seattle Mariners.

...did I mention there's no Sales Tax?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
