Like many, I've got Manny fatigue, so I'm heading out the door for the weekend a bit early, getting on the road, and going down to West-by-God-Virginia for some peace and quiet. I have no Internet connection there but I can read comments via the very weak cell phone signals that penetrate the old' holler in which my mother-in-law lives. You'll be happy to know that I cannot respond to your comments, so now's your chance to take pot shots at old Shyster.
Enjoy your weekend. When I come back, I fully expect to hear Dodger fans complaining about Manny's lack of desire.
See you bright and early Monday morning,
See you bright and early Monday morning,
Craig
Complaining about Manny's lack of desire? His complacency on the field is matched only by Dodgers fans' complacency in the stands.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your long(ish) weekend!
I dunno, the Dodgers fans at the game I went to got awfully fired up about booing Andruw Jones.
ReplyDeleteBoo Braves. Yay Phillies.
ReplyDeleteNo more Friday posts! Where is your desire?
ReplyDeleteWe don't deserve a blogger like you.
Great work as always...
Enjoy your trip, Counselor. The real question is not whether you have Internet access out there in BFE, but whether you have cable/satellite access! I mean...they're still playing games, y'know!
ReplyDeleteHey guys check out my blog http://mostlymets.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteMan you must be going to the "uppity" part of WV... when I visit my folks: no computer, no internet, no cell phone service within a 45-mile radius :)
ReplyDeleteOnly if you call Beckley, WV "uppity." And actually, it isn't evn Beckley. That's town. My flop when I go back home is a handful of miles outside of Beckley near Mt. Hope, WV, down in a holler off of Maple Fork Road.
