More on Billy Crystal

I was thinking a bit more about the whole Billy Crystal thing, and decided to run a couple of numbers:

Average age of Yankees' projected 2008 lineup: 32.1
Average age of Yankees' lineup with Crystal replacing Matsui as DH: 34.98

I know the Yankees are an aging team, but wouldn't you hope that adding a 60 year-old to your lineup would skew that average age up a bit more?

    Think about this...both David Wells and Roger Clemens are available...

    (I shouted about this post over to my buddy in the next cube and he says, "Wait...he called Billy Crystal a moron?")
